About
History
Hello Languages was founded in August, 2021. Since founding, HL has taught over 160 free classes, accepted over 600 bookings, made over 1500 educational slides, and helped over 100 students in Japan gain fluency and confidence in English. HL has not only contributed to young English learners, it has also given students in the US the opportunity to teach, learn, and grow, all in a safe, online environment.
How it works
HL teaches 5, 30-minute, free, online classes a week. Students register for each individual class they want to attend on a drop-in basis. Our class subjects range from simple language arts, mathematics, music, art, cultural education, and more. With over 10 subjects, we are confident that our students can find a class of their interest!
Methodology
Currently, all classes are hosted in English for English learners abroad and young learners in the US. Our English-learning curriculum is based immersion based, inspired by Kiko's, founder and director, early education.
At HL, we hope to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for our students to learn and reach their goals. All instructors at HL are volunteers, kind, and passionate about their role as instructors.
